New Tardy/Attendance Procedure

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

• Students who are late 3 times will be assigned a lunch detention.

• Students who are late 4 times will be assigned a 1-hour after-school detention.

• Students who are late 5 times will be assigned a 2-hour after-school detention.

• Students who are late 6 times will receive an automatic office referral.

Students who skip the assigned detentions will automatically be escalated to the next disciplinary procedure as explained above.

It is imperative that students arrive to school and to each period on time. Students with chronic absences and tardies will receive disciplinary action and could be considered truant.

Expect automatic daily notifications from Infinite Campus if your child is absent or late at any time during the school day. Parents can create an Infinite Campus log-in by accessing the "Parent Resource" tab then clicking on "Infinite Campus". Parents are encouraged to speak to their student about the importance of arriving on time to school and to each class period.
