Principal's Message

To My Cougar Families,

Ohio’s End-of-Course State Exams are upon us and it is time for students to kick it into high gear. Westland High School administration will administer thousands of State Exams in each of the subject areas to any and all students requiring the exams for their graduation points. Please see assistant principal Mr. Dotson if you have any questions about your registration for the exam(s).

Ohio’s graduation requirements state that all students must earn a combined minimum of 18 points from the exams. For each of the seven End-of-Course Exams a student will earn between one and five graduation points.

As building principal, I ask that all seniors finish this last quarter strong and complete and submit all required items before graduation. I thank you for making a difference and encourage you to make a lasting positive impact during your last days as a WEstland student.
