Principal's Message

6/1/2021

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

As building principal, I couldn't be more proud of my students and staff for the successful completion of the 2020-2021 school year. Some say this year has been the most challenging as we navigated from Remote learning, to blended, back to remote, blended and finishing the year All In. However, Westland High School was prepared and I believe we are finishing this year stronger than expected as we have practiced our Growth Mindset in the decisions that we have made, we have chosen to use our keyword Response (in our ROAR motto) to focus on our actions and behavior. And, we have demonstrated Gratitude throughout this entire school year. Gratitude for each other, Gratitude for our progress and our gains, and Gratitude simply for the fact that, we had a school year. I am proud of all of our Westland High School Students.

WEstland Administration wish the graduating class of 2021 the best of luck in all your future endeavors and ask that you stay in close contact with us here at WHS. As for all other students, please rest up and enjoy a safe and relaxing summer. You deserve it!
