School Counselors

Westland High School offers a wide array of counseling services to all Westland students. Counselors work with students one-on-one regarding 4 year planning, college planning, career exploration, as well as graduation tracking. In addition, counselors are available for personal, social, or emotional counseling. Counselors are also available to refer students to outside counseling agencies should a student like to received additional services.

College Credit Plus ("CCP")

Ohio’s College Credit Plus program can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university is free. That means no cost for tuition, books or fees.
