Summer School Information
Summer school is only open for students who have failed a course required for graduation and need to recover the credits. Summer School for credit recovery will be FREE and take place at Westland High School.
The district will be offering Summer School for .25 credits of PE and .50 credits of Health. The PE and Health courses will take place at Central Crossing High School (not at WHS). A different form (available in the student office) is required for PE/Health registration. Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided to WHS or CCHS.
Summer School Dates/Times:
June 13, 2022 through June 30, 2022 (no school on June 20, 2022)
8:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Attendance is mandatory!
The deadline for registration is Friday, June 10, 2022.
We will offer courses in the English, Math, Science, and Social Studies content areas using an online program called Edgenuity. The expectation is that students will attend all 13 sessions to complete their work and receive assistance from the content area teacher.
Students must complete all of the Edgenuity assignments and pass the class in order to receive credit for the course(s). If students do not log into the online course(s) and do not complete the activities, they will not earn credit for the course(s).
All the information requested below is required to complete the registration. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school counselor.
